Happy Easter
The girls really enjoyed Easter this year. Adrianna looks mad in this picture because she wanted to wear her dress and Ashlyn's dress to church. They made a haul and of course we are all still on a sugar buzz. On Saterday we had a lovely dinner with the Perkes Family. Aside from the fact that I choked on a piece of prime rib all the while my life flashing before my eyes until my father-in-law did the heimleck and saved me (shot out to Phil, thanks!) we had a lovely day :) Sunday we had a lovely dinner with the Pierce family(no major trauma there). It is so nice to have both families so close. We really enjoy the time we spend with them!

My Rock Hero!
Ashlyn seriously makes me laugh! She totally digs Guitar Hero and rock band. She begs and pleads to play. She really gets into it. She even says "rock on" after a song is done. The other night John and his buddy Steve where playing Rock Band and of course Ashlyn was right there strumming along.

Cereal Anyone?
Today my lovely husband text me saying that Kellogs cereal was .25 cents at Albertsons. I thought back to the days when we were newleyweds and couldn't resist the Albertson's cereal deal, I mean come on it's .25 cents. So John came home and had bought 22 boxes of cereal! Anyone up for a cereal party?

So Sleepy
Ashlyn loves to draw and color. Give her a pen and some crayons and she will be entertained for hours. The Magna Doodle is at the top of her list! John went to check on her in the middle of the night. He pulled back the covers and there she was with a death grip on the Magna Doodle pen, open mouth and all.

Best Buddies
It's so nice to have these two so close! They are the best of friends. Adrianna gets sad at night if she can't sleep with her sissy. They make me laugh!

Linkin Park

On Saturday John and I had the opportunity to attend the Linkin Park concert at the E Center in Salt Lake. John is a huge fan of Linkin Park so I bought him tickets for Valentines Day. The band Coheed and Cambria (also another favorite of Johns) opened for Linkin Park. It was amazing! I forgot how much I liked going to concerts. These men are all so talented! My ears were ringing for hours afterwords (sorry I forgot to wear my hearing protection Steve) It's awesome when you can feel the music vibrate through your body. Both bands were excellent live! We had a good time and enjoyed the little weekend get away. Thanks Marci for watching the kids :)

Twilight

So I am an official "Twihard". I started reading the twilight series on Sunday evening and am already a couple chapters in the second book. After many recommendations from my family (Sarah, Amber, Laura) and my best friend Amy I decided to read this wonderful series. Thanks ladies for introducing me to these books. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good love story!

My Undertaking
John has started a new blog about the funeral industry and his experience with it. I know he has a lot to say so it should be a good learning experience for those of you aren't so familiar with the industry. Check it out!

P.S. I didn't kick John off the blog like he says I did!
