This weekend I....

Road tripped to Colorado and surprised this lovely lady for her 30th birthday

Had way to much fun at The Melting Pot, seriously sooooo good!

Saw these and had to have them. I honestly hate Sweethearts but I am a Twilight nerd!

Got to see this cutie patootie, so glad she remembered me!

Saw Harry Potter 6 with my die hard Potter companion!!

Took a trip down memory lane, I forgot how beautiful Boulder/Longmont is. I felt a little homesick after leaving this place which is weird considering I've been back tons of times since I've moved. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Coconut Goodness

Coconut M&Ms have got to be the best M&M creation ever......

Of course they are limited edition, I don't know how I will go on when they are gone!

Sneaky Sneaky

This past weekend was my mother-in-laws 50th birthday, to celebrate we decided to throw in a few surprises.....

First surprise was Mike. He flew out from NY to be with his momma on her special weekend. We were all very sneaky bringing Mike to Reed's Dairy (yummiest ice cream ever) and positioning him in line. Laura did a great job stalling Marci while we prepared.

Marci immediately recognized the back of Mike's neck, she was sooooo shocked, we got her good!

Second surprise was a party at the park including the extended Page family. John smoked his array of meats and Marci was ladled (a Perkesism) with gifts.

Zoo And Blues

Today the kids spent a fun filled day with their cousins. The Tauphus Park Zoo is always on our summer to do list.

After the zoo the adults headed out for dinner and a show......

Utah Weekend

This weekend I...

1. Reconnected with someone I've missed

2. Meet some super cool peeps

3. Ate at Macaroni Grill with family, came to the conclusion that our family is full of plumbers, computer wizards and speech language pathologists!

4. Lounged at a lounge

5. Ate at Ruth's Diner with Provo, Aberdeen and Sugarhouse cuzzies, if you haven't been go, really cute!

5. Got in some much needed Ikea time

6. Hit up the Gateway, hello Anthropologie!

7. Wondered what the heck the bubbles are in bubble tea

8. Connected with another mom who has a son similar to my Ashlyn

9. Played Catch Phrase music edition and had a blast

10. Shook it like a Polaroid Picture

FAT Vending

Yes it is true, FAT BBQ will be doing some roadside vending this upcoming weekend (Saturday July 11th) in Pocatello. We will be located at the old Big Dog Satellite building on Yellowstone. Stop by and get yourself some Q!

Silly Girl

Ok so I was about five years old and I saw Dirty Dancing for the first time (why the heck was I watching dirty dancing at five). I thought I would never find another quite like him

until....... 

I started watching this little show called Full House, maybe you've heard of it. Seriously who wasn't in love with Uncle Jesse!

In my pre-teen years I was all about this blondie. Hello have you ever seen Casper The Friendly Ghost!

My teenage years were filled with posters of this Ralph Lauren model, I would liken this crush as to my husbands with Yasmin Bleeth. 

In the college years I found myself obsessing over this one. After Star Wars me and BFF rented all of the two movies he was in and had ourselves a little Hayden fest. 

I must admit that I have always had a little crush on this one

Looking back I have to say that I was a little boy crazy (Teen Beat magazine in tow). But no crush has ever compared to Hubs of course, he is my studly muffin, my dream man, love ya baby!
