Princess Pre-School
My little princess started pre-school today with Disney Princess lunch box in tow. In true Adianna style she wouldn't leave the house without wearing something sparkly and frilly!

Kindergarten Baby
Our little girl started Kindergarten. She was more than excited for her first day. John and I choked up a bit at the fact of how independent she truly has become. We are so proud of her. My heart wrenched a little when Adrianna said to Ashlyn "Bye sissy, come here and give me a hug and a squish. I'll miss you." We are all excited to see her start such a big milestone!

Colorado and Life Decisions
Recently I went to Colorado to celebrate Melissa and Derek's wedding. The ceremony was set against the beautiful scenery of The Red Rocks. I gave a reading about The Art of Marriage, thank you Melissa for asking me to be a part of your special day!
Val, Danelle and I. Look at us now, all grown up, each with kids of our own and hoping they don't grow up to cause the same shenanigans as we use too! Oh the memories!
The wedding party, nice to visit with old friends!
I also go to spend the 4th of July with my bestie Amy. I loved meeting her new little guy Logan (6 months old, but new to me). We watched Eclipse, went shopping and continued the tradition of Sonic drinks and soft serve!
On a completely different note, I have been back and forth about school for the past two months and have decided to postpone, yet again, my education until Adrianna starts 1st grade. Over the past two and a half years I've lost my hair, been so completely sleep deprived and gained 30 pounds. I enjoy school but just ran out of steam. I'm not ready for a babysitter to watch my children all day everyday, I need this time with them. John is going to pursue a Masters program and I will be right here to encourage and support him and know he will do the same for me when my time comes.
On the positive side, two months ago I decided to take control of my health. Biking, hiking, healthy eating habits (no not starving myself), plenty of water, time at the gym and a positive attitude has helped me lose 20 pound. Considering my past, this is a very big accomplishment. I have learned that healthy weight loss is achievable. Food is our friend, not our enemy. I still have curves, cellulite and the wear and tear of two pregnancies but am growing to love it all! Also, I am women hear me roar... etc. etc.

Ice Cream and Sunshine
The girls adore their playmate Aubrey. We've made a new tradition of Monday play dates, mostly swimming since the Idaho sunshine decided to come through!
