Fun at the Zoo

Recently, while I was visiting my best friend in Colorado, John took the girls to the Tauphus Park Zoo. He was joined by his mom and sister. The kids had a lot of fun. John had a blast with the kids while I was gone. They did a bunch of fun stuff together. John even did Ashlyn's hair everyday! What a guy!

Ashlyn loves to give Adrianna Hugs and Kisses. Every since Adri was a baby, Ashlyn has always been able to hold her. Looks like Adrianna is almost as big as Ashlyn now!

I go back to school next Monday! This summer went by so fast!! I am taking on twelve credits this semester. I am anxious to get school over and done but I still have two years. I also babysit two days a week. The two kids I watch are around the same ages as my children. My girls love to have them over! John stays busy as well with school and his full time job at the Funeral Home. It seems the past couple months he's been gone. Our kids are always full of energy. (as are most kids) Somedays I wish I had their energy or maybe just an extra few hours in the day. Now for my sendimental mom moment, I can't believe that my kids have grown so much. Sometimes I wish they were teeny tiny chubby cheeked little babies again. Ashlyn use to be the chunkiest baby. It was so cute!! Now she is a skinny, tall, beauiful child with big brown curls and eyes! She no longer resembles her baby self. She now looks like a kid. (moms every where know what I mean) Adrianna was my teeny preemie baby. She has always been little. When she was born she had dark eyes and hair. Now the dark hair has turned into blonde and the dark eyes have turn into amazing blue. The babbels have now change into real words. As their mom it amazes me how much they absorb, how much they learn. I love the moments we have together right now but sometimes I can't help but miss those baby moments. ( I know I know, my girls are still young) My mom always says, "Wait tell you blink one day and your little girl is 25 and has children of her own." The moral of the story, cherish every single moment you have with your children!
