The Holidays

I hope every one had a Happy Thanksgiving. Ours was great! This was the first year I hosted Thanksgiving. John made an awesome Turkey and we had the in-laws over. Now that Thanksgiving is over, time for CHRISTMAS!! We put up our tree and decorations today. I love this time of year. Something about the Holidays puts a smile on my face, perhaps it's because I get a little break from school. No really, I love CHRISTMAS!!

Smiley Face

Ok, so we are nerds but we got so excited when Ashlyn drew her first smiley face. It's a life changing moment when your child goes from drawing scribbles to actually drawing something! The magna doodle is red because our other little budding artist (Adrianna) took a red crayon to it and I can't get it off.

Halloween Fun

This year for Halloween we went trunk or treating. Everyone from our church pulled there cars into the church parking lot and decorated their trunks. My parents came with us and helped take the kids around to each car. There were about 60 cars. Ashlyn really got into it this year. She couldn't believe that people were actually giving her candy. By the third car she looked at my mom and said "run grandma" like she and my mom were going to sneak off with the candy. It was pretty funny! My mom told her that they could continue on to each car and get more candy. Ashlyn told every person who handed her candy "THANK YOU" in the loudest voice she could. Adrianna on the other hand wanted grandpa to hold her the whole night. She really didn't care either way for trunk or treating. John and I took turns handing out candy. We all had a lot of fun!

Happy Halloween

My girls and the Stimpson boys (Tanner and Logan) had a lot of fun trunk or treating. Ashlyn made the perfect Snow White and Adrianna made the cutest Tinker Bell! (although Adri wouldn't stand still for two seconds so I could get a picture of her)

John & Kellie

John drove the limo to trunk or treat, all the kids thought it was pretty cool. Like his costume, his suppose to be a "stud"!

All Dressed Up

Me and my buddy Abbey. (and next door neighbor) This is as creative as I got with my costume!

Happy Family!
