Ashlyn and Auntie

I thought this was so cute! Ashley was doing Ashlyn's hair for her birthday party. Ashlyn reached over to give Ashley a hug and kept on hugging!

What we are up to

Adrianna- Adri has a new found joy in running as far away from mommy as possible. She is absolutely delighted when I have to sprint after her! We are glad she is walking now though. She still loves to eat. Man that kid can put it away. I guess after having such a picky eater it's nice to have one that eats anything! I do mean anything! Adrianna is now 21 months old. Her second birthday is approaching fast. Where did the time go? She absolutely loves Elmo. She has a mini Elmo that she sleeps with, a huge Elmo that she reads to, a hokey poky Elmo that she daces with and a Christmas time Elmo she likes to snuggle with. Of course she loves Sesame Street or any movie with Elmo. Adrianna has become quite the little talker. She loves to talk to everybody. The girl is not shy. She absolutely adores her big sissy and follows her around everywhere. She tries so hard to copy everything that Ashlyn does. They love to snuggle on their little chair while Ashlyn reads Adrianna a book. It is so dang cute!
Ashlyn- Ashlyn will be celebrating her third birthday the end of this week. She has grown so tall and is taller than most her age. Ashlyn loves to dance. It is so fun to watch her create new dance moves. She usually makes me put on music from itune and we dance tell we get tired. When she wants to dance she usually asks "Mom lets shake our booty". I laugh every time. She also loves to explore. She loves to be outside playing and exploring. If I let her she would stay outside all day! She loves to read and do puzzles. I always seem to find lost puzzle pieces in every corner of our house. Ashlyn's imagination has expanded and she love to pretend she's a horse or a butterfly. She love dress up clothes. Her favorite is her feather boa, princess crown and mom's high heels. She prances around the house saying she's a pretty princess. When I get dressed up for church or any other occasion Ashlyn tells me I'm a pretty princess. John is also a pretty princess when he puts on his suit for work.Ashlyn too loves her little sissy. She is always giving Adrianna hugs and kisses. I love my babies!
John- John is stilling working with Colonial Funeral Home. He is the head of their Pre-Arranged Funeral Program. He is still in school and remains very busy between the two. John has taken up playing the guitar. He is teaching himself. Also He likes to wake up at six in the morning at hit the gym. I don't know how he does it, I am so not a morning person!! When John gets a free weekend he likes to go shooting. He is currently in the process of trying to convince me in getting a gun. We'll see how that works out. John is a great Daddy to our little girls. Both of my girls are big time Daddy's girls. They have him wrapped around their little fingers! John has been so great in helping me while I go to school. He is an awesome guy! There is nothing more attractive than a guy down on the floor playing with his kids!
Me- I am currently in the middle of my semester. It's been a great challenge to juggle everything but I manage. I talked to my school counselor the other day and she said I could have my bachelors in two years. I feel like the end of school is so far away! I am still babysitting two days a week. I really don't have any free minutes in the day. I love the weekends!!!!!! I found that walking really helps me relieve stress and is a nice break. who knows maybe I'll start running again. I am really into this whole blog thing. I love it! I love my girls and love the time I have with them. They make me laugh, they make me cry and sometime they make me angry :) Everyday is a new challenge and everyday it seems I receive a new reward! I love my life and love my family. God has blessed me ten fold!

What is It?

I've tried everything to get this child to eat her veggies. She just won't! She stared down her broccoli for a long time then asked if it was a tree. After that she tried to brush John's teeth with it!

Happy Birthday John!

John's 28th birthday was yesterday. Friday we celebrated at Grandpa's Southern BBQ. Grandpa's is John's favorite spot for BBQ, we have made it a tradition to go every year! We had good food, family and friends all around. It was fun. Happy Birthday John!

Like Mommy

Adrianna has this funny obsession with shoes. She likes to get in my closet and pull every pair out before I catch her. She then proceeds to try on every pair. It cracks me up when she puts on John's size thirteen dress shoes and tries to walk in them. Oh yeah, Adrianna is now officially walking!!!

I know that this blog thing is normally a Kellie deal, but I couldn't resist posting this one. This is a picture floating around the internet right now showing that Chris Farley has been reincarnated. I love it! I wish my daughters would have been blessed like this little girl. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls, but this is a cute kid! So there is my contribution. Who knows, maybe one day I will contribute about the meaning in my life and some great life reflections.
